8 hours of relaxing relaxation music with an oriental flavor. Play on low volume in the background while chilling out, sleeping, studying or doing any other activities for a blissful ambiance and zen like experience.
This simple image relaxation video by TheHonestGuys is 8 hours, 5 minutes 40 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of a Zen garden. It uses one still image of a Zen garden scene in combination with a special effect of swimming fish with relaxing music and running water sound effects, which has an oriental type of flavour to it.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on a Zen garden and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There is just one scene used throughout this simple relaxation video, that of a Zen Garden with a swimming fish special effect.
The audio used in this relaxation video has music which has a relaxing oriental style to it and a sound effect of running water.
The scenes of this Zen garden simple image relaxation video show images of pond, green plants and seahorse statues, and the image size fills the screen completely.
As there is only one image used throughout this relaxation video, there are no transitions. However, the scene is faded in from black and faded out to black nice and slowly to maintain a relaxed state.
The video use a single special effect, that of superimposing swimming fish onto the main scene, which I think aids relaxation. Either it is a continuous 8 hour video clip or it is smoothly cross faded and looped to give the appearance of a continuous video clip.
This is a very good simple image relaxation video which I would use as a ambient background for relaxation. It has a lovely Zen garden scene with nicely superimposed swimming fish together with lovely Zen garden relaxing music and the sound effect of running water. I could see how it would be relaxing in an environment where you are doing something else and wanting to create a sense of peace such as in a Spa or whilst studying. I could also see how it might induce sleep for those people finding it difficult to get to sleep.
The single scene of a Zen garden is very pleasing to look at and it functions as a focal point for contemplation and relaxation. The swimming fish special effect also adds some interest and variety. However, if it was to be used for a relaxation session, a could imagine the viewer falling to sleep quite easily due to lack of variety, which is not the purpose of relaxation but to remain awake and aware. I believe the video would be improved if more variety of scenes were added.
All said and done, it is a very good video and would be great to play in the background whilst busy doing other tasks. I could listen to the sounds in the background and look at the scene now and then.
