Cosmos Image Relaxation Video With Relaxing Space Music By Relaxcity

The Majestic Beauty of the Cosmos

Each of these sights of the far away corners of the cosmos was captured thanks to the lenses of the Hubble telescope conquering these amazing distances. My little tribute to Carl Sagan! All images courtesy of NASA, ESA, and The Hubble Heritage Team (STScI/AURA). The music is “Sail the Cosmic Ocean” by The Amnis Initiative.

This simple image relaxation video by Relaxcity is 4 minutes 21 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of the Cosmos. It uses still images of Cosmos scenes in combination with lovely relaxing music which definitely sounds like Cosmos type music, complementing the images very well.

Video Components

The theme of the video is nicely focused on the Cosmos and is good for concentration and relaxation.

There are a number of lovely scenes used in this simple relaxation video which are of the Cosmos.

The audio used in this relaxation video is just music which has a lovely relaxing Cosmos style to it.

The scenes of this simple image relaxation video show images of the Cosmos with its galaxies and stars.

The image sizes used for this image relaxation video are all uniform and fill the screen completely, creating an awesome sight which aids the focusing of attention and relaxation. However, the display time of each image is too short and and I found this not so good for aiding the focusing of attention during relaxation.

The transitions between images are too abrupt, which disturbs the relaxing nature of the images and music.

Special Techniques

The video also uses a zooming technique to give the feeling of floating through the Cosmos which I think aids relaxation. There is also a rotation effect on the image as if you were in a rotating space ship.

I think this is a great simple image relaxation video but could have been fabulous for relaxation if the images were shown for longer and a slow cross fade transition were to be used between images.

As an ambient background video I think this video is great as it shows some fabulous still images of galaxies and stars within the cosmos.
