24 Life Quotes, Relaxation Music and Beautiful Pictures…
This life quotes with nature scenes image relaxation video by Maxime Lagacé is 6 minutes 32 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of life quotes displayed on nature scenes which are mainly of the coastline type. It uses still images of nature scenes in combination with piano music and shows two individual quotation on each nature scene displayed.
The theme of the video is well focused on life quotes with a supporting secondary theme of coastline type nature images. I feel that both of these focused factors help with concentration and relaxation.
Many of the scenes are lovely but I especially like the second scene with the sunset reflecting on the ocean surface.
The audio used in this relaxation video is music with the main instrument being the piano. I consider the tempo of the music to be a bit too fast to be considered relaxing. At the start of the audio during the display of the first image only, there is also the nature sound of the ocean played on its own, which I found to be more relaxing than the music.
The scenes of this life quotes image relaxation video show images of oceans, islands, rocks, sunsets, skies, clouds, coastline, beaches, sand, waves, water, spray, reflections, silhouettes, trees, hills, mountains and people. The images are lovely and each image is displayed for a good length of time which serves to aid the focusing of attention and relaxation.
However, the image sizes used for this image relaxation video are of different sizes. So, at times the images do not fill the screen completely and black bars are visible that can be considered distracting from relaxation. Plus, two quotation text are displayed for each image and means the display time for each text quotation is too short for reading in a relaxed state and for contemplating on, which is frustrating and does not encourage relaxation.
In this life quotes video there are transitions between images and also between quotation texts. The transition types between images and quotation texts are too varied. The transition times between images and text are also too fast. All these factors can tend to break concentration and relaxation.
I feel a simple slow cross fade transition of the images plus a simple fade in and fade out text transition would be better for relaxation.
The video also uses a zoom out technique on the nature scenes to give the feeling of motion which I think aids relaxation. However, at times this can cause the quotation text to become unreadable.
This life quotes guided image relaxation video is ok as an ambient background video but I did not find it that good for relaxation. Among the detractors from relaxation are: tempo of the music is a bit too fast; image sizes vary and black bars are visible; image transitions and text transitions are too varied and too fast; two quotes displayed for each image. All these factors made me feel there is too much happening too quickly and hence I did not feel relaxed.
