I do not own the song, or the pictures. I found the clip on my computer. The song is called Tennessee and it’s composed by Hanz Zimmer. Pictures from google.com Soundtrack from the movie Pearl Harbor. Enjoy!
This simple image relaxation video by KevinTheMovieMaker is 3 minutes 41 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of skies and clouds. It uses still images of sky and cloud scenes in combination with relaxing music and has millions of views and thousands of likes and comments.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on skies and clouds which is good for concentration and relaxation.
There are a number of scenes used in this simple relaxation video which are a variety of skies and clouds. Some of the scenes are lovely and I especially like the red sky sunset scene.
The audio used in this relaxation video is just music which I found to be very relaxing.
The scenes of this skies and clouds relaxation video includes images of: skies, clouds, sunsets, moon, rays of sunshine, horizons, oceans and shorelines.
Although each image of this image relaxation video is displayed for a good length of time which serves to aid the focusing of attention and relaxation, the image sizes used are not all the same size and the image sizes used do not fill the screen completely so that distracting black bars are visible. These latter factors are not so good for relaxation.
The transition types between images are a kind of dissolving into each other, which are not disruptive to relaxation. However, I feel a simple slow cross fade would be better for relaxation. The transition times between images are a little too fast which means they can tend to break concentration and relaxation.
There are no special techniques used in this simple image relaxation video.
For relaxation purposes I find this video good. The music track is nice and fairly relaxing and the images are also lovely and relaxing. Also, each image is displayed for a good length of time and the image transitions are ok, smooth and relaxing.
However, the video could be improved by: making the transitions longer and also of the cross fade type; removing the odd portrait shaped image thrown in amongst all of the landscape shaped image; and ensuring all images fill then screen completely; as these factors are disruptive to concentration and relaxation. Having said that this is a good example of a relaxation video.
This video would be good as an ambient background video and be even better if the aspects that were negative for relaxation were improved.
What do you think about the video? Relaxing? Tell me in the comments!
