Slow Piano music with a cinematic, peaceful and positive feel. Due to its calm, soothing, tranquil, but also inspiring character, this relaxing background music instrumental, combined with beautiful views of Switzerland’s mountains around Engelberg, can be a perfect fit for your relaxation…
This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 11 minutes 35 seconds (13 minutes 44 seconds with funny bit and credits at the end) long and focuses on a single theme of mountain scenes. It uses a still video of mountain scenes in combination with relaxing piano background music.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on mountain scenery and is great for concentration and relaxation.
There are a variety of mountain scenes used in this simple relaxation video. My favourite is the mountains and lake scene at 4 minutes with the mountain reflections in the rippling lake.
The audio used in this relaxation video is relaxing piano music which I feel is great for relaxation purposes.
The scenes of this simple image relaxation video shows a variety of images including: mountains with snow, rocks, grass, flowers, trees and bushes; lakes with reflections and ripples in the water; and skies with sunshine and shadows.
The image sizes used for this image relaxation video are all the same and fill the screen completely; which serves to aid the focusing of attention and relaxation. However, the images are spoiled a bit by the brand of the website (relaxdaily.net) being written over the image.
The transition types between images are simple cross fades and the transition times between images are nice and slow, both factors which help maintain a relaxed state.
There are no special techniques used in this video.
This relaxation part of the simple image relaxation video is great, using still videos of a single theme of mountain scenery; the transitions between scenes are nice and slow cross fades and there is good use of fade in from, and fade out to, white at the start and end of the video; the images completely fill the screen; the audio is relaxing piano music which is great for relaxation. However, one negative aspect is that the website name (relaxdaily.net) is displayed over all the images. Also the extra section at the end which includes credits and an attempt at humour with the cows is perhaps something the video, in respect of relaxaton, would be better without.
With regards to use as an ambient background video I find this video interesting with a reasonable amount of variety due to the still video capturing the motion of the lake water and grasses and the variety of scenes. Although only 11 minutes 35 seconds long, it could be put on a repeat play cycle which may make it suitable as an ambient background video (if the credits and cows section were omitted).
