This guided relaxation breathing exercises video by iyogaclass is 1 minute 30 seconds long and concentrates on one theme, that of Bhramari Pranayama breathing exercises, also known as Humming Bee Breath and Bumble Bee Breath. It is a still video of a female demonstrator showing us the breathing technique whilst the voiceover of a female instructor explains the technique. There are also the natural sounds of the garden playing in the background.
The theme of this relaxation video is well focused on breathing exercises, more specifically the Bhramari Pranayama or Yoga Humming Bee Breath. There is no introduction and the female instructor gets right into the demonstration.
The audio used in this Bhramari Pranayama (Yoga Humming Bee Breath) video contains the voice of the female instructor as a voiceover. The tone and pace of the instructor is nice relaxing tone and there is also natural sounds of the garden on the audio.
The verbal instructions given by the female instructor are generally clear but there are a few details that leave me wondering what she means, such as when she says begin chanting. She says you can use any comfortable meditative posture and instructs you to use your index fingers on your ear lobes to block your ears. However, she does not explain why. I assume it is to enhance the vibrations during the performance of the hum during the out breath that she describes. She tells you to close your mouth during the out breath and hum but says nothing about the in breath.
The demonstration is given by a different female to the one giving the instructions. The female demonstrator is in a frontal, cross legged yoga sitting position. She places her index fingers on her ear lobes during the demonstration to reinforce the verbal instructions given.
There is only one scene used throughout the entire Bhramari Pranayama or Yoga Humming Bee Breath video which is that of the female demonstrator doing the breathing exercise whilst sitting in a yoga position on an exercise mat in a garden. A close up view of the female demonstrator’s face, index fingers and ear lobes is also used during the demonstration.

The camera angle is horizontal towards the female demonstrator and the hedges in the background. Unfortunately, this permits a member of the public to walk past in the background during recording.
This breathing exercises video with an example of the Bhramari Pranayama (Yoga Humming Bee Breath) is ok at explaining and demonstrating the breathing technique and it is performed at a relaxed pace. The instructions that are given are quite clear but for me there is insufficient detail. The demonstration is clear and supports the instructions that were given. Demonstrating the technique in a natural setting was a nice touch but not enough care was taken to ensure the recording was undisturbed by the public.
