This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 8 minutes 40 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of sunshine holidays on the coast. It uses still images of coastal scenes in combination with relaxing music.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on sunshine holidays on the coast and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There are a variety of types of scenes used in this simple relaxation video related to sunshine holidays on the coast. My favourite is the dramatic sunset sky coastal scene near the end of the video.
The audio used in this relaxation video is relaxing music which has a really relaxed style and tempo to it, a sort of relaxed holiday chill out beat.
The scenes of this simple image relaxation video show a wide variety of images including: towns, buildings, skies, oceans, rocks, cliffs, trees, plants, boats, sand, beaches, people, waves, hills, mountains, sunshine, sunsets, sun and reflections.
The image sizes used for this image relaxation video are all the same size, fill the screen completely; and every image is displayed for a good length of time; which together serves to aid the focusing of attention and relaxation.
The transition types between images are simple cross fades and the transition times between images are nice and slow, both factors which help maintain a relaxed state.
The video also uses a slow zooming in or out technique, or panning left or right. These techniques give the feeling of motion which I think aids relaxation.
This is a good simple image relaxation video but I probably would not use it for relaxation because some of the scenes within the theme probably have a bit too much variety and some are a bit too stimulating for the mind. For example, I felt the town scenes were a bit distracting from concentration and relaxation. All other aspects of the video are great. The music is relaxing; the images are very nice, being shown for a good length of time and completely filling the screen. There is good use of a slow zooming or panning on the images and the transitions between images are nice and slow cross fades. With regards to use as an ambient background video I find this video interesting with a good variety of scenes and would use it for this purpose. Although only 8 minutes long, it could be put on a repeat play cycle.
