Enjoy smooth relaxing beautiful music, no words, a gentle instrumental. This is slow and peaceful music I composed and recorded for myself and for you! Take a break, let the music do it’s magic while you slow down, relax, meditate, do yoga, perhaps have a short but good sleep, or just think about the day, your goals, your plans, your dreams. In today’s fast and loud environment we all need at least a couple of minutes just for ourselves. Let’s call it quality time.
This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 8 minutes 13 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of a single scene with an image of a bench view beside a canal in combination with relaxing music.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on a bench view beside a canal and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There is just one scene used throughout this simple relaxation video, that of a bench view beside a canal. The scene is lovely and I especially like the sunshine through the trees and the reflections in the water.
The audio used in this relaxation video is just an instrumental music track which is nice and relaxing with a good slow tempo.
The single scene of this simple image relaxation video show images of water in a canal with trees, bushes, plants and grass. There is a bench on the near side of the canal and a bridge on the other side. There is also sunshine coming through the tress with shadows on the banks and reflections in the water. The image size used for this relaxation video fills the screen completely.
As there is only one image used throughout this relaxation video, there are no transitions. There is also no fade in at the start or fade out at the end.
There are no special techniques used in this simple image relaxation video.
In my opinion, this straightforward, uncomplicated arrangement of one scene with instrumental relaxing music is good for relaxation. Having just one theme means the video is focused and the use of just one scene or image which fills the screen completely means it is very focused. As the length of the video is relatively short, the use of a single image is ok. The canal scene is very pleasing to look at and it functions as a focal point for contemplation and relaxation.
Bear in mind that with just one scene/image you may be inclined to fall asleep during relaxation. The aim of a relaxation session should be to remain awake and aware. As the intention of a relaxation session is to “not” fall asleep, this may be detrimental to relaxation. If I wanted to make any improvements I would use more images of canals with the images slowly cross fading into each other to maintain a relaxed state.
As an ambient background video it is not really long enough but it could be put on a recurring loop. With only one scene/image the video itself is not very interesting and would therefore not be very good as an ambient background video. There may also be a tendency to fall asleep watching the video due to lack of scene variety. However, having said that, some people may just wish to have a single image with relaxing music playing in the background to help them relax while they are concentrating on other tasks, such as reading, and looking up occasionally at the scene.
