Sunsibar Slow Meditative Instrumental Music – A Simple Image Relaxation Video By relaxdaily
Original slow, meditative instrumental music made to relax you! … slow down, use this relaxing background music to improve your mood, enhance your calm, or bring peace to your everyday life. Or maybe you’re one of the many people who find relaxing instrumentals of benefit during your workout (yoga, etc.) or playing it in the background at work, while being creative, while studying or doing your homework, while doing a walk, or while your complete household chores.
This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 7 minutes 21 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of a calm ocean. It uses a single still image of a calm ocean with a purple colour filter together with relaxing music and beach waves nature sounds.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on a calm ocean scene and is good for concentration and relaxation.
Only one scene is used in this simple relaxation video, that of a calm ocean scene.
The audio used in this relaxation video is relaxing music with beach waves nature sounds and has a relaxed dreamy style to it which is good for a relaxation session.
The single scene of this simple image relaxation video show images of a calm ocean surface with the reflection of the sun on the surface and the image size fills the screen completely.
As there is only one image used throughout this relaxation video, there are no transitions. However, there is a nice slow fade in from white at the start and fade out to white at the end.
The video also uses special effects which are:
- A slow panning to the right technique; and
- A purple colour filter is applied to the image.
This arrangement of one scene with special effects and instrumental music with nature sounds is very good for a relaxation session. Having just one theme means the video is focused and the use of just one image which fills the screen completely means it is highly focused. As the length of the video is relatively short, the use of a single image is ok. The image of panning to the right on a calm ocean scene with an purple colour filter applied to it is good to look at and it functions as a focal point for contemplation and relaxation.
Bear in mind that with just one scene/image you may be inclined to fall asleep during relaxation. The aim of a relaxation session should be to remain awake and aware. As the intention of a relaxation session is to “not” fall asleep, this may be detrimental to relaxation. If I wanted to make any improvements I would use more images of plumes of smoke which slowly cross fade into each other to maintain a relaxed state.
As an ambient background video it is not really long enough but it could be put on a recurring loop. With only one scene/image the video itself is not very interesting and would therefore not be very good as an ambient background video. There may also be a tendency to fall asleep watching the video due to lack of scene variety. However, having said that, some people may just wish to have a single image with relaxing music playing in the background to help them relax while they are concentrating on other tasks, such as reading, and looking up occasionally at the scene.
