Sunrises And Sunsets From Around The World Relaxation Video By David Huting
Rejoice and relax in the splendor of the glorious Sun for a full hour, with this new video by David Huting. This version features only the sounds of Nature, and offers a visual journey featuring many scenes of glorious sunrises and sunsets from locations such as Yosemite, Big Sur, Hawaii, Santorini, Sydney, The Canadian Rockies, Arches, Canyonlands, the Fiji Islands, and much more.
This simple image relaxation video by David Huting is 59 minutes 49 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of sunrises and sunsets. It uses still video of sunrises and sunsets in combination with relaxing music and nature sounds.
The theme of the video is generally focused on sunrises and sunsets and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There are a number of scenes used in this simple relaxation video which are mostly sunrises and sunsets. Most of them are lovely and my favourites are those of sunsets over water with reflections in the water. However, some of the scenes have man made structures in them which I found a little distracting from relaxation. Also, some scenes do not have a sunrise or sunset in them which does not fit in exactly with the title.
The audio used in this relaxation video is a combination of relaxing music and relaxing nature sounds.
The scenes of this simple image relaxation video show a variety of nature images, including: skies, clouds, sun, sunshine, reflections, water, mountains, lakes, oceans, waves, rocks, grass, plants, trees, beaches, sand, islands and coastline. There are also a few birds and some man made structures of buildings, boats and bridges.
The image sizes used for this image relaxation video are all uniform and fill the screen completely. Each image is displayed for a good length of time and I found this to be good for the focusing of attention and relaxation.
The transition types between images are simple cross fades and the transition times between images are nice and slow, both of which help maintain a relaxed state.
There are no special techniques used in this simple image relaxation video.
This is generally a very good, simple image relaxation video. There are a good variety of scenes within the theme of sunrises and sunsets. All the images are the same size and fill the screen completely fill the screen. The music is relaxing, as are the nature sounds.
However, some negative points are: at the start the screen is black for too long and makes you think the video isn’t working; the first scene then starts abruptly instead of fading in slowly; the video also ends abruptly; and there is also an interruption with a promotional screen.
I could see myself using this simple image relaxation video as a general ambient background video to relax to whilst doing another task, like reading a book. However, I wouldn’t use it as a relaxation session due to the above negative aspects, plus it is too long for a relaxation session. This video is more of a promotional video than being a relaxation session.
