See Manhattan To Background Lounge Music – A Simple Image Relaxation Video By relaxdaily
Enjoy smooth relaxing lounge music, no words, a gentle instrumental. This is original, slightly funky, slow and peaceful music I composed and recorded for myself and for you! Take a break, let the music do it’s magic while you relax.
This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 8 minutes 50 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of Manhattan. It uses still images of Manhattan scenes in combination with relaxing music.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on Manhattan and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There are a variety of types of scenes used in this simple relaxation video of Manhattan. My favourites are the night time scenes with all the city lights near the end of the video.
The audio used in this relaxation video is relaxing music which has a really relaxed style and tempo to it, a sort of chill out city beat.
The scenes of this simple image relaxation video show a wide variety of images of daytime and nighttime Manhattan and people and includes: man made things like buildings, roads, cars, coaches, bridges, signposts, lampposts, benches, trains, lights. These are mingled with natural things like: islands, rivers, rocks, parks, trees, grass, water, lakes, plants, skies and clouds, and sunshine, shadows, reflections and silhouettes.
The image sizes used for this image relaxation video are all the same size, fill the screen completely; and every image is displayed for a good length of time; which together serves to aid the focusing of attention and relaxation.
The transition types between images are simple cross fades and the transition times between images are nice and slow, both factors which help maintain a relaxed state.
The video also uses a slow zooming in or out technique, or panning left or right. These techniques give the feeling of motion which I think aids relaxation.
This is a good simple image relaxation video but I probably would not use it for relaxation because I found the city scenes a bit too stimulating for the mind and distract from concentration and relaxation. All other aspects of the video are great. The music is relaxing; the images are good, being shown for a good length of time and completely filling the screen. There is good use of a slow zooming or panning on the images and the transitions between images are nice and slow cross fades.
With regards to use as an ambient background video I find this video interesting with a good variety of scenes and would use it for this purpose. Although only 8 minutes long, it could be put on a repeat play cycle.
What do you think about the video? Relaxing? Tell me in the comments!
