Ocean Sunset With Relaxing Background Study Music – A Simple Image Relaxation Video By relaxdaily
…instrumental tested and approved as music for studying, reading, or doing creative mental work. It should also work quite well for meditation and yoga like exercises because of its peaceful and positive nature. This piece begins as peaceful as Beethoven’s Moodlight Sonata but gains some positive energy on the way to its climax. The last 3 minutes are pure relaxation again…
This simple image relaxation video by relaxdaily is 9 minutes 46 seconds long and focuses on a single theme of a single scene of an image of an ocean sunset in combination with relaxing background study music.
The theme of the video is narrowly focused on a single view of an ocean sunset which is great for concentration and relaxation.
There is just one scene used throughout this simple relaxation video, that of an ocean sunset.
The audio used in this relaxation video is lovely music although for me, I feel the tempo is it slightly fast for relaxation.
The single scene of this simple image relaxation video is lovely and shows an ocean sunset with the sun low in the sky shining through clouds above a still ocean. The sunshine is reflecting off the ocean surface and the whole image has a lovely orange tinge to it. However, the image is spoiled a little by the brand of the website (www.relaxdaily.net) being written over the image. The image size used for this relaxation video fills the screen completely.
As there is only one image used throughout this relaxation video, there are no transitions. However, there is a nice slow fade in from white at the start and fade out to white at the end.
There are no special techniques used in this simple image relaxation video.
In my opinion, this straightforward, uncomplicated arrangement of one scene with instrumental music is ok for relaxation. Having just one theme means the video is focused and the use of just one scene or image which fills the screen completely means it is highly focused. As the length of the video is relatively short, the use of a single image is ok. The scene of the ocean sunset is great to look at whilst listening to the music. The video is good as a focal point for contemplation and relaxation.
Bear in mind that with just one scene/image you may be inclined to fall asleep during relaxation. The aim of a relaxation session should be to remain awake and aware. As the intention of a relaxation session is to “not” fall asleep, this may be detrimental to relaxation. If I wanted to make any improvements I would use more images of ocean sunsets which slowly cross fade into each other to maintain a relaxed state.
As an ambient background video it is not really long enough but it could be put on a recurring loop. With only one scene/image the video itself is not very interesting and would therefore not be very good as an ambient background video. There may also be a tendency to fall asleep watching the video due to lack of scene variety. However, having said that, some people may just wish to have a single image with relaxing music playing in the background to help them relax while they are concentrating on other tasks, such as reading, and looking up occasionally at the scene.
