This is Canon by Pachelbel. I have mixed some pictures in the song to make it even more relaxing :). Enjoy and feel free to comment.
This simple image relaxation video by diemauerdk is 6 minutes 16 seconds long and focuses on a the theme of natural scenery. It uses still images of nature scenes in combination with famous relaxing music which is “Canon In D Major”. This is quite a popular relaxation video as it has millions of views, thousands of likes and plenty of comments.
The theme of the video is nicely focused on nature scenery and is good for concentration and relaxation.
There are a number of scenes used in this simple relaxation video which are a variety of landscapes, including beaches, mountains, waterfalls and coastline.
The audio used in this relaxation video is just relaxing music which is “Canon In D Major”
This image relaxation video contains a mixture of natural scenery, including images of beaches, oceans, coastline, rocks, mountains, hills, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, water, skies, clouds, sun, moon, snow, ice, sunsets, and also trees, flowers, buildings and people.
Although nice, the image sizes used for this image relaxation video vary; they do not fill the screen completely so there are distracting black bars are visible; plus they are not shown for a long enough time. These factors are distracting to concentration which is detrimental to relaxation.
The transition types between images are of varying types and they happen too fast, which is disruptive to relaxation.
There are no special techniques used in this video.
As a relaxation video I find the wide range of nature images a bit too distracting. If the theme of the images were to be a little bit more narrowly focused it would most likely work for me as a relaxation video. The choice of famous music which is “Canon In D Major” is very relaxing and the images are lovely. However, I find the different sizes of images and the visible black bars a bit distracting, plus the image transitions are too fancy and a little too fast. The video could be improved by cropping all images to the same size are simply using a slow cross fade transition from one image to the next.
As an ambient background video this would be great to chill out to and the improvements suggested for relaxation would also benefit it as an ambient background video.
What do you think about the video? Relaxing? Tell me in the comments!
